Local Unit & Position Description 

The role will be placed in the Veracity unit under business area DNV GL Digital Solutions, which is one of five business areas in DNV GL located at Høvik, Norway.

The Veracity team consists of dedicated entrepreneurs eager to scale the Veracity platform with noticeable impact. You will work in close cooperation with colleagues from DNV GL Digital Solutions and external consultants supporting the platform building.

We are searching for a motivated colleague to take on the role as full stack Veracity Platform Developer. The role will report to Veracity Lead of Development.

Work includes, but is not limited to:

 
•Design software on the roadmap for Veracity in collaboration with Product managers, UX and architects
•Coding software components, front end or back end
•Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the applications
•Building reusable code and libraries for future use
•Optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability
•Implementation of measures to ensure security and data protection
•Working with team members in proactively addressing software quality
•Executing and contributing to improving existing DevSecOps processes, including test automation, CI/CD
•Perform peer code review
•Follow and contribute to improving established agile framework, development guidelines etc.

Position Qualifications 

•Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
•Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
•Strong analytical skills
•Solid knowledge of web application development on the Microsoft .NET framework
•Ability to work on both front-end and back-end of applications
•Solid experience with C# and Web API/MVC
•Good at HTML 5 and CSS (Bootstrap, LESS/SASS)
•Good at JavaScript and common JS libraries such as, React and Angular
•A good understanding of SQL Server and database design
•Skilled in Object Oriented programming
•Skilled in software architecture and design patterns
•Experience with agile methodologies and tools
•Experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS
•Good understanding of security

Additional qualifications are a plus:

 
•Experience with microservice and container
•Experience with Typescript
•Experience with Python
•Experience with event driven software architecture
•Experience with E-Commerce
•Experience with Distributed system design
•Experience with Caching
