HR Specialist Compensation & Benefits

HR in Hydro consists of three specialized areas: Global HR, HR Business Partners and HR Competence Centers (HR CC). The Norwegian HR CC is the main contact for Hydro’s employees and line managers in Norway and handles operational and specialized HR requests.

We are now looking for a new HR Specialist in the Compensation & Benefit team. For the right candidate, we can offer an interesting position in a dynamic and professional HR organization!

Area of Responsibility

As HR Specialist within the field of Compensation & Benefits (C&B), you are main responsible for the following up on Hydros Pension and insurance scemes in Norway, both internally and towards external parties. In addition you will contribute within other C&B areas together with the rest of the team.
Your main tasks are:

• Make sure that deliveries are in line with commercial and professional agreed standards
• Controlling
• Continous work on Improvements and standardization of procedures and ways of working in C&B
• Offer professional advice and information in your specialist areas both in HR and towards the rest of the organisation

Qualifications

• Work experience within pension and insurance and HR
• Good skills within law, economics or finance will be valued
• Thorough knowledge of the Compensation & Benefits HR area and associated issues such as pension and insurance
• Detail-oriented and familiar with numbers and calculations
• Ability to cooperate across a diverse company and relate to both leaders and workers in all level, and provide advice and counselling
• Eager to work with continuous improvement and standardization of processes and systems
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Norwegian

Furthermore, you have excellent skills in communication, both oral and written, to different levels of the organization.
