We are looking for an experienced API and Integration Architect to play a key part in developing our connective tissue – our integration services – for the future!

There is currently a strong drive towards digitalization in DNV GL, and we foresee significant development of digital services and solutions in the coming years. DNV GL has strong connections to Microsoft and .NET integration services, Microsoft BizTalk Server, serves the backbone for our global enterprise architecture. We are currently looking for a solid, knowledgeable and foresighted API / Integration Architect / developer or Lead to take responsibility for API development on .NET in combination with BizTalk Server. DNV GL uses Microsoft Azure and you will use the latest of API and API management technologies from Microsoft.

You will become a part of an Integration and Master Data Management section in GSS IT, our internal IT organization responsible for delivering a wide range of IT capabilities and capacities to business and corporate units, and to end users worldwide. The main focus of the section is to manage, develop, operate support and maintain DNV GL’s global integration and master data management solutions These services are key capabilities in our common global business execution platform in DNV GL, called VerIT Enterprise.

In this role you will have a marked impact on how we leverage the current and future capabilities of relevant Microsoft technologies for API development and integration solutions.

Key tasks:

• Development and Management of DNV GL’s API portfolio
• Develop and contribute to our roadmap towards an API first strategy based on business needs, non-functional requirements, vendor roadmaps and major technology trends (e.g. cloud, mobile, IoT)
• Engage in projects and initiatives to ensure that new solutions are developed in line with our enterprise architecture and utilize Microsoft Azure using latest .NET technologies for integration solutions.
• Initialize and execute activities to enhance and further develop our Enterprise Service Bus, also keeping an eye on major technology trends and Microsoft roadmaps
• Establish and follow up an integration monitoring framework to ensure that planning and decisions are based on facts and insights
• Manage availability, IT Service continuity, information security, data and information

Requirements:

Successful candidates should have a good understanding of the technical aspects of, as well as interest in the supported business processes. We are looking for persons with experience or knowledge in several of the following areas:

• Extensive development experience on Microsoft .NET and API development
• Proven experience of architecting, planning, developing, testing and deploying .NET integration solutions.
• Experience from Enterprise Integration projects
• Experience with API Management
• Experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server is preferred
• Good understanding of architecting/developing on Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Oauth2
• Good understanding of DevOps concepts
• Proficiency in English – written and oral; working language is English
