Head of Capital Projects

As Head of Capital Projects for Norway, the candidates main responsibility would be the development and growth of our capital projects business, primarily focused on Key Accounts. 

The role will be leading our projects business and guiding our team of dedicated project managers. Covering all project types from small refurbishment or fitout projects to larger, more complex building related works. The expectation will be to implement and improve our internal procedure, maintain and grow a healthy pipeline and to cultivate our customers.

Implementing and sustaining excellence in all areas of the project management organisation to enhance ISS's offering to both existing and potential customers. Further responsibilities would include owning key relationships with our customers, our country management team, GO ( Global Operations) and external Stakeholders. 

As Head of Capital Projects you will have full P & L Accountabillity and ownership of Commercial Governance, Compliance, Risk and Supply Chain. You will be expected to execute the ISS delievery model and engage both direct reports and internal stakeholders in this process.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A recognized university degree in management, engineering or related technical area. 
• A recognized professional project management qualification would be preferable but not mandatory.
• Working experience in a Construction, Fit Out or Build environment discipline would be beneficial.
• Preferably, a minimum of 6-8 years’ experience operating at a senior manager level.
• Proven track record in managing large and complex projects as well as experience in costing/estimating and sales process.
• Demonstrates experience in managing Health and Safety Compliance.

You need to be good in English and a Scandinavian language both spoken and written.
